Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are your products active or passive?

A: All of our products are passive in an effort to have a more traditional electric guitar tone.

Q: Do you still sell the pickups separately?

A: Not at this time. All of our inventory and resources are presently applied to the design and manufacturing of our completed instruments.

Q: Do I need a special cable or some type of powered signal breakout?

A: No, our technologies utilize a 1/4" jack and are passive. They are designed to be used with a 1/4" TRS stereo and or a 1/4" TS mono instrument cable.

Q: Ground loops occur when playing through two amplifiers. How do you prevent this?

A: We manufacture the passive Ultramagnetics Iso Splitter. This direct box separates the ground from the amps respective to each other. This can also be used for traditional stereo TRS wired guitars. Some of our guitar designs require no box at all as the ground is isolated and directed within the guitar.

Q: I want to have one amp in one room and another amp in another room far away. I am getting noise in my signal and I don't know where it is coming from.

A: If your building or room is wired with multiple grounding paths, it is important to plug both amps into the same grounding path. The easiest solution would be use the same outlet or power strip for both amps to ensure a low signal to noise ratio.

Q: Do you make hexaphonic output pickups and guitars?

A: No, we don't. Our designs are presently isolate to two channels.

Q: Do you make electric basses?

A: Not yet. We are presently working on several designs and plan to release a stereo string isolating bass in the near future.
